“These are great little sensors, accurate enough for home science experiments.
They are good and waterproof, and the metal section can be immersed in liquids (though you probably shouldn't immerse the whole sensor)
The metal is stainless steel so it compatible with salt water solutions.”
“This is a useful probe (I'm using it to monitor aquarium temperature) however they seem to have a very high failure rate. One of the two I bought didn't work at all, and the replacement was also a dud. It was only the second replacement that worked OK (so in total 2 of 4 were faulty). Credit to Pimoroni customer support for responding and replacing them very quickly.”
