“A low cost item but appears to work pretty well in assisting the Pi to maintain temperatures below 60C. Have pushed the Pi as well and very happy with the temperature control.”
“This is my third 6mm heatsink, two on a 3b and the last on the 3b+, they do make a difference in running temps both in idle and under usage (OSMC and Retropie in my case).
Because the 3b+ has a metal shield around the processor, that also helps with heat dissipation, the heatsink sits slightly taller (maybe half a millimeter) than on the 3b, but I'd bet there isn't a HAT out there that sits close enough for this to be a problem.”
