Small, sticky, sinks heat readily. Just right for the Pi 3 CPU. Convenient, heh?

Easy and a good idea for any pi running 24x7

Fit in fine with the Dac+ board and custom case. Only using as a media centre but can't do no harm.

This cooled down my Raspberry Pi 3 significantly, and finally stopped the Pi from thermal throttling (when the Pi's CPU is slowed to cool it down) during power-intensive periods such as playing games, updating a lot of software and browsing the web. It's incredibly easy to stick on, and stays snug and is secure and doesn't slip off. It's inconspicuous and still keeps the Raspberry Pi attractive to the eye. It fits my Raspberry Pi 3 case perfectly with no struggle for room and doesn't clash with HATs (6mm). Overall, it's a cheap, efficient way of cooling down your Pi, incredibly simple to put on and doesn't take up any space beyond the CPU.

I got slim ones for two Pi 3’s and they just work well. Make sure there is no dust on the chip and then they’re easy to stick on.

I'm using the heatsink with a Pi3 inside a pibow coupe. The pibow is placed horizontally. The heatsink fits nicely inside the pibow window and I attached it to the Pi3 after I placed it inside the pibow. Great item.

I've only been using my heatsink a few days but in that time my Pi hasn't been turned off and I haven't noticed any heating issues so thats a great purchase in my book

These heatsinks worked very well at keeping the temperature down in my consistently overheating project (a DEC PDP-8/i minicomputer emulator) BUT.... My Pi3 board is in a vertical orientation (no, I can't change that), and as the CPU warmed up, the heatsink adhesive softened and the heatsink started to slide down the CPU. I fixed that with an elastic band holding it in place, but I would have thought the adhesive should have been enough on its own.
