“The 38.7mm x 11.9 White LED Backlight was just the right size to fit in a model railway waiting room. It looks realistic too. I fixed the module in place with PVA glue and soldered the wire connections using a heat sink so as not to overheat the module. The packaging does not state the Voltage of the module, which is a pity as it took me a while to find the Technical Data Sheet, which can be downloaded. Otherwise, a great product.”
“Using to make an animated sign on a model railway. It works really well for this - I removed the diffuser and stuck precut pieces of coloured acrylic to the face. It's possible to drill through the panel to add SMD LEDS as 'details'. Really quick delivery and a very good price!”
“Excellent- but note that the product listing links to obsolete datasheets that specify **too much current**. The obsolete Rev 2 datasheet specifies 25mA, while the newer Rev 3 datasheet specifies only 10mA.

I've several of these LEDs which I did drive at 25mA before I realised that was wrong- several of them are now noticeably dimmer/bluer than others.”
