“This is a surprisingly nice lens. The image is very clear when paired with a global shutter camera, and the build quality is quite solid. It's missing a few things that are present on more expensive lenses, namely aperture control and an in-lens focus mechanism. It turns out those aren't really necessary, so removing them was a good way to make the lens cheaper without sacrificing image quality.”
