Camera works well with the Pi interface and was easy to get running (I set it up to stream/record with Motion software). Would note that the night vision LEDs will only light up very strongly to around 3m so might need some help if you want to see further. But works well for small enclosed spaces and the colour shift in the daylight images (from no IR filter) isnt as bad as I expected.

Great camera if you have some space to accommodate the 2 powerful IR leds. Mine are just in open air so I am not worried about the heat they produce. The wide angle and the IR lights seem to match the requirements to keep an eye on the strategic spots (expensive stuff, doors...) of a medium sized room when you are away using some distant access to your raspberry pi. The only thing I could complain about is that the IR lights will stay ON all the time if your room is not bright enough. As is, it seems that those lights are ON whenever the rasberry is plugged-in. Regardless if the camera is ON or the pi is ON. However, if you flash a lamp directly at the sensors, or if your room is very bright, the IR turns off. Useful but I did not find out how to change the threshold if possible at all (seems to be some hardware directly on the led boards to me).

Good quality camera but night vision is limited to only about 1m. The fish-eye (160 degrees wide angle lens) has impressively low distortion but bear in mind that mounting it is tricky because you can't hide it at the end of, say, a soup container because you will block half of the view. We've ended up mounting it in the lid of a container and then using strong cling film across the whole thing!

Great value for money. REMEMBER: it's variable focus, so (once you've taken the lens cap off ;-) rotate the camera lens to change the focus. Don't rotate it too far as it can drop off (!) but a few turns is enough to go from really close to distant. Very easy to use and works with both the NatureCam software and the MotionEyeOS software out of the box. Remember to add the camera as type "V4L2 Camera" and mine was on /dev/video0 which is probably the top of the list.

Great build quality, and picture quality too, as per spec. The kit includes both type of cables - for Pi Zero and Pi2/3b+, so can't go wrong. Very good price for setting up your own CCTV / night imaging.

Colours are inaccurate (as expected) because of the IR pass through. Excellent camera module for security.
