“Wow. This was surprisingly easy to set up. Removed the Pi Zero Cam from my Raspberry Zero W. Plug in the supplied cable to the Zero W (the latches are so easy to break on the connectors and after mine broke, I've been using a thin rectangle of paper to wedge the cable in). Restart the Pi Zero, and it works straight away! I'm using a Python script that streams the camera images and provides a Flask server.
The IR lamps are a little centre-heavy and the periphery of the cameras sensor is not so well illuminated. Therefore, it gets very noisy at the edge of the images.
Nevertheless, a great hassle-free product.”
“Connected to a Raspberry PiZero running Motion Eyes and monitors the front door and drive day and night extremely well. Colours are a little pink initially but there is a setting in Motion Eyes that improves that”
