“I'm building a couple of projects - one for a time-lapse view from the top of the hill overlooking my home town (and the sea) and the other for an under-water camera at in the inter-tidal zone. Both need the wide angle view, so hopefully this will do the trick.”
“Great little camera but be advised - the area that will be in focus is very narrow. Great for close ups in small spaces but for wide shots ie outdoors I'd recommend the fixed focus 120 degree.”
“As we monitor cucumber growth in real-time, we used multiple cameras. This one is perfect if you are space limited. You can zoom in to get focus on things you want to observe. This one definitely will be in our item list for coming projects as well”
“Very clear and high quality images and video. Camera does get hot, I believe around 60C so be careful touching. I have been running it 24/7 for the past 3 weeks and it has performed excellently. The manual focus can be a little difficult to adjust but overall was good.”
“It is a decent camera for the price with great viewing angle. However, the image quality is less than stellar and especially the low-light performance is mediocre. This is to be expected given the tiny sensor, but it should still be noted.”
“Lovely little camera which has so far watched some sourdough starter bubble away and snapped some close ups of birds at a feeder.
Manual variable focus can be a bit tricky, using uv4l streaming server works well for anyone looking to get live feedback as they focus.”
