“I bought this camera to use with the official red-white pi zero case.
But the lens is at the wrong side. the 1 must be connected to the arrow. Then you would have to rotate the cable and the cable is too short so you can not fit the lens into the lens hole.
Why in the world??”
“Waaay smaller than I expected from the images of the product. Very easy to use. Nice images. I wasn't going to use a camera but thought, for this price, I should try it. I'm very glad I did and now all my 'nodes' will have one. Currently have a zero setup with a PIR. It streams like a network camera via NGINX and does separate captures when motion detected. All using the standard Python libraries. Well impressed. I really am surprised how well it performs.”
“Bought both versions.
What I like is, that a small metal plate prevents accidental shorts of components on the FPC when bending.
However due to the huge area on which the components are placed, this restricts bending of the cable a lot.
The cable itself a bit short, but this solely depend on your use case. You can alwas extend a cable but never shorten it without destroying the camera.
Overall a good camera for good price.
Best for applications where space is limited.”
