Going to have some fun connecting things - have not been able to do that before as the cables are not available anywhere else - so order them while you are ordering something else.

Part way through testing some i2c temp/humidity sensors I wanted to see if I could attach a BME280 at the end of a 15m length of telephone cable. Having already soldered a header on an SHT40 to connect it to a Pi-Zero2W one of these JST-SH cables was just the ticket to jump the i2c bus over to my breadboard where I added an MCP9808 sensor. That worked, and adding the BME280 on the end of circa 15m of telephone cable worked fine too. And just for grins I added a second MCP9808 on the end of circa 20m of 2 pair signal cable and that also worked. I didn't think i2c would handle that but these connectors made mocking this up a doddle!

Super handy connectors if you use a lot of the Adafruit breakout boards.

Until I have converted my entire hardware collection to STEMMA/QT, Dupont headers, male and female, will remain a fact of life. These cables come with male headers, just the thing to connect an Arduino Due or a breadboard to Adafruit’s STEMMA/QT 5-port hub. I would give five stars, but one male Dupont header arrived with a bent pin. Not worth sending back, of course.
