“I bought this as a way to access the MicroSD card inserted in a RPi 2 in the PiBow Audio case (with IQAudio PiDAC+ HAT) that has been bolted to the back of a 7" touchscreen. Normally the MicroSD is very difficult to access, as it sits behind the ribbon cable for the screen. Pliers/tweezers/swearing is usually involved.
Unfortunately, the flange that joins the MicroSD connector to the ribbon cable is too wide to fit into the gap left in the Pibow case. If the MicroSD connector was just 2 or 3 mm longer before it widened to attach to the ribbon cable, then it would fit a treat.
