“For my particular project I ordered the Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera, the Microscope stand with 0.12-1.8x lens and a Raspberry Pi Camera Cable 50cm. The 50cm length of the cable was ideal to connect it to the Raspberry Pi 4, which was mounted on a piece of wood, just above the bottom platform of the microscope stand. I inherited some 8mm and super-8 film from the 1960's and wondered if I could improve on the digital scan of a lab. The microscope lens was of particular interest as the exposed areas of an 8mm film is only 3.3mmx4.5mm. To my excitement the new lens was able to capture that area including the frame.
