“Really like the case design and how it’s built, really solid aluminium. The only frustrating bit is the external USB connector needed to communicate between HDD board and RPi.
The side panels feel like cheap plastic but the fact that they’re magnetic.
Other than that, I’m really happy with it and can’t wait to add some HDD to it.”

“A really pleasing bit of kit. Beautifully designed and satisfying to put together. The instructions are slightly lacking (don't mention that the back also needs to be removed to get the guts inside) but apart from that really good.
One little wrinkle - at first the fan speed control didn't seem to be working. Once I'd installed the custom software to control the fan it just ran at full speed all the time. It seems it was because I have only SSDs in the box and it was having trouble getting their temperatures. I set all the HDD values to 0 and then the fan stopped running unnecessarily.”
