“Used for a R-Pi4; simple and slick, fits perfectly the Pi. Bottom is plastic, the two covers are metal (aluminium) - included heatsink plater (sticker) for the CPU and the memory chip and some screws to close the Pi (chips must be in touch with the case which behaves as a thermal heatsink.
Tasted continuously for 6 hours with xmrig mining Monero, 4 CPU at 100% and the CPU temperature has never gone above 67 degrees C.”
“Perfect for the Pi4, cools off the main chips without the need for a fan and also allows you to install a hat with its ingenious design while still cooling the board.”
“Case feels nice and solid, I wanted something with some weight as the pi is so light it gets dragged be the weight of the cables, this case solves the problem without being overly bulky. Easy to fit and a very smart appearance, the magnetic lid is a bit keen so you have to line up the non magnet side first else it closed a bit skew. The lid is perfect for gpio access though and has an indent for the camera accessory too. Overall a very smart design, would definitely recommend.”
“Nice case. Install time less than 5 minutes. No dead spaces, so dust doesn't enter to raspberry pi. I guess you can add a hat (not tested this yet, intend to do it later) .
Access to all connections to raspberry is very easy, and also you can add or remove the sd card without removing pi from the case. The magnets are a nice thing : the cover of the case slides easily with the help of them.”
