Fantastic piece of design, really elegant, and a great case. No problem installing stuff at all. And runs very nicely with the .M2 drive too. Well worth getting.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Argon ONE M.2 Case for the Raspberry Pi 4, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and design. This case provides a sleek and compact solution for housing your Raspberry Pi while offering additional features that enhance its functionality. First and foremost, the build quality of the Argon ONE M.2 Case is outstanding. It is made from high-quality aluminum that not only looks premium but also acts as an efficient heat sink, ensuring that your Raspberry Pi stays cool even under heavy loads. The case feels sturdy and durable, providing excellent protection for your device. One of the standout features of this case is the inclusion of an M.2 SSD slot. This allows you to easily expand the storage capacity of your Raspberry Pi by adding an M.2 SATA SSD. The case includes all the necessary hardware and adapters to install the SSD, and the installation process is straightforward and hassle-free. The Argon ONE M.2 Case also incorporates an integrated power button, which is a fantastic addition. This feature allows you to safely turn on and off your Raspberry Pi with a single press, similar to a traditional computer. It's a convenient and user-friendly feature that adds to the overall user experience. Another noteworthy aspect of this case is its intelligent fan control. The case is equipped with a programmable cooling fan that adjusts its speed based on the temperature of the Raspberry Pi. This helps in maintaining optimal operating temperatures while keeping noise levels to a minimum. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the Argon ONE M.2 Case for the Raspberry Pi 4. Its sleek design, robust build quality, integrated SSD slot, convenient power button, and intelligent fan control make it a standout choice among Raspberry Pi cases. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced user, this case offers an excellent combination of functionality and style for your Raspberry Pi 4 setup.

The best case I ever had. Shame the fan has already failed after about two months. Can't find a replacement.

The case itself and probably the M2 Sata interface are OK - the problem seems to be finding a compatible M2 SATA stick. I tried several with varying degrees of success. Even though my Pi 4 had been working reliably for years with a "bog standard" USB power supply, I splashed out on a Argon official PSU which made no difference. Sadly Pimoroni do not sell SATA memory sticks and I found little on the internet to help apart from telling me it could be a minefield. Several SATA sticks formatted and verified perfectly but then came up with random errors. And for those wondering, yes, I did run the fan utility (running at 100% constantly "just in case") to no reliable end. I've decided to see if I have better luck with the NVME variant and give up with the SATA one. I wonder if I can return it? It's a shame both the SATA and the NVME variants are listed on a single page on the Pimoroni site, The pictures seem solely for the M2 version and the reviews give no idea whether the reviewer is talking about the SATA or NVME version. The Argon seems well designed/constructed so I will persevere - stay tuned - hopefully for better news on the NVME version. The least Argon/Pimoroni could do is provide a list of "recommended" stick in the same way that motherboard manufacturers do for memory chips and NAS makers do for hard drives. Hopefully things will get better before I am bankrupt!
