“Used for an Alexa project. The microphone is not great but for the price is acceptable and somewhat expected. Used with Alexa, you do need to be pretty close to the Pi for it to pick up voice commands clearly and that is with various tweaks to the gain, etc. Overall it’s fine for my needs. If you have the money, I’d suggest spending more and getting something better.”
“This microphone doesnt work well at all. I was literally sat holding it to my mouth and speaking down it with the mic input volume turned right up and it was difficult to hear the recorded sound. I would not buy again.”
