“As a result of selecting the wrong end (I needed full-size USB A), I got to splice a USB A connector onto the end of this dongle and I can tell you it’s well made with good shielding and thick wires. Nice one! (But also don’t be like me and get the right connector the first time).”
“Worked instantly without a hitch on my Pi-hole. I thought USB2 might hinder my gigabit download speeds but as this is for DNS lookup only, it seems to not have an effect!”
“I tried another adaptor (Davicom chip and dm9601 driver) which was unstable under Raspbian and DietPi - froze the system or networking. This one is based on 8152B chip and works well. BTW, adaptor's size is 16x22x92mm (and cable sticks out of the long side quite a bit) - I was looking for that bit of info but could not find on Pimoroni.”
