“I tried another adaptor (Davicom chip and dm9601 driver) which was unstable under Raspbian and DietPi - froze the system or networking. This one is based on 8152B chip and works well. BTW, adaptor's size is 16x22x92mm (and cable sticks out of the long side quite a bit) - I was looking for that bit of info but could not find on Pimoroni.”

This is a superb product and as it says on the Pimoroni web site they have tested many others and this is the best. That is matched by my own experience as non of my existing powered or non powered USB hubs worked properly with the Pi Zero.
It was a real bonus having a network interface to the hub as well, if you don't have Pi Zero W, it allows you get on with network connectivity straight away. The build quality is much better than similar products, and the network interface makes it good value for money.
The process from order to delivery was really good and exceeded my expectations.
