“Used it immediately to read a 2.5 inch hdd, and then a SSD. Trouble free and will get regular use if not permanently used on one of my pis or desktops.”
“I bought these to make a cluster to learn Ceph and Longhorn. Unlike some others I tried, they work with Linux and Raspberry Pi without issue or the need to update the firmware. The only slight issue is that the bulk of the SATA connector is on the bottom, rather than the top which makes mounting underneath the pi slightly harder. I've bought many of these now though with no issues.”
