“I really shouldn't have bothered looking elsewhere. I tried a cheaper (but not by much) adapter from eBay to connect a Kingston SSD to my Pi 4, but performance was really slow. Bought this adapter from Pimoroni and haven't looked back. Better still the slightly shorter cable actually makes it easier to tuck the SSD underneath the Pi case.”

“Great product that actually works ! Tested with RPi4 on USB3.0 with 120 & 240 Gb SSD. Boots straight from SSD, no uSD cards involved. Drive will have to be low power Tried so many different SATA adaptors and cradles that didn't work”
