“Works great so far with my Adafruit PiTFT 3.5'' Touch Screen. I just had to follow the easy instructions from the Adafruit webpage in installing the installer script. Using the console install commands the user has the option to decide, whether to appear the console on the display or to mirror the HDMI output. Backlight control should be possible via PWM output on GPIO 18, but haven't tried it yet. All in all, it works perfectly for me and special thanks to my favourite supplier Pimoroni.”
