I used the PiOLED with a RPi-zero, to provide local (to the pi) feedback on the sensor data it is gathering. Easy to connect, easy to use with the python library, I highly recommand it.

Tiny OLED Display, good brightness, recommend for projects where tiny display needed. If you follow instructions from Adafruit easy to get working

would be better with i2c breakout so can display values of sensors. expensive for a small display

Good 'instant' display - just plug into the GPIO. Very convenient for displaying the ip address, free disk space and processor activity on a headless Pi using the sample code.

A bit of a faff to get up and running (for a newbie - the online instructions get you set up for Python 2, not Python 3 and it took an extra search on Google and an extra line of code to get it sorted) but an excellent teeny-weeny display once it’s done.

Nice quality, cheap little display for playing around with displaying b&w images or text output on the pi. Good set of example code to start with from Adafruit's Git repo' too. It's plenty bright enough and quite responsive - very happy with it
