“A very nifty device. It’s amazing that Python runs on something so small. I bought this to make an animated heartbeat badge. A pulse monitor measures my heartbeat and then the gemma displays this as a flashing heart symbol on a tiny 8x8 led matrix. The matrix connects via i2c and that leaves one pin for connecting the pulse monitor. Runs off a tiny lipo battery fom a Hubsan quadcopter for about 7 hours. The JST PH connector didn’t match the connector on the battery though, so I had to order some more and solder a new plug on the battery.”
