Excellent product. Once set up very easy to start making impressive things with MakeCode. I was able to use the MakeCode blocks to get something up and running and then inspect the resulting JavaScript to get a better idea of what was going on under the hood. Next stop CircuitPython!

Wanted something beginner level to get an idea of Makers/IoT/DIY electronics. Happy with my playground. It is three days so far I cannot get away from the thing. Trying to figure out how to configure it as a custom USB keyboard for my Raspberry PI: any tutorial I can have a look at?

So much stuff in a small package! Can be programmed in Arduino or CircuitPython, loads of neopixels, sensors, a buzzer, capacitive touch capability - a great platform to learn CircuitPython. Love it!

The Circuit Playground Express has lots of fun gadgets built in. The only reason why I did not rate it Very Good was that out of the (anti-static) box it did not register as a device on a PC or a Raspberry Pi. I needed to update it (scrubbing the demo) to get it to work. A note in the packaging to that effect would help.
