“An excellent piece of kit with a good tutorial from Adafruit and a few other good guides online. I was able to flash an example BLE application for setting the Neopixel colour to Adafruit's nRF52840 Feather board, and then pick apart the protocol and learn how to clone the commands using this sniffer quite quickly. Wireshark is the recommended (free) software tool for parsing the data the sniffer captures, and that takes a little learning, but now that I know how to use them together I think it'll be very useful for tinkering with homemade IoT sensors.”
