“This is a very poor method of making a T joint in 1515 profile. The need to break the horizontal member seriously compromises strength and stiffness and the head-to-head screws makes assembly impossible without specialised tools. A corner brace along with slide-nuts and bolts would be much better, unfortunately the only corner brace stocked is for 2020 profile.”
