Very nice quality. As many have commented before, these come up big. I’m normally a 10 and the 10’s delivered were really quite loose. I like to add orthotic insoles to all footwear. Added them on top of the existing insole and even with thick socks there was still room for another flat insole. Added that which fixed the problem. They are now very comfortable to wear and the correct size. I suspect if I’d gone down to a 9 I may not have got the orthotic insoles in. Size 9.5 would have been ok but half sizes are only available further down the size list. Another point to mention is that, regardless of the internal size, they look quite large externally, but I don’t mind that. They’re very nice and just the job. Super fast delivery from Shoestation in less than 12 hrs!

I bought these as my previous pair are wearing out after 3 years near constant use and were as comfortable as a pair of trainers from the start. New sole is not as pictured online - even on the Hoggs site - and is not a flexible, now using the same sole unit as Hoggs Nevis walking boots. I even ordered a pair direct from Fife Country just to check and they’re the same. These boots are wide so go half a size down if you wear thick socks and a whole if thin/summer use. I’ll see what they’re like in a couple of years!
