This Hartwood Kitchen Garden Planter has been designed with the perfect depth for gowing herbs and vegtables. It's also ideal for wheel chair access or those who have trouhle bending. To manufacture these planters we have used timber that has been Pressure Treated to give it a 15 year guarantee against rot and fungal decay. The Planter can hold approximately 130L of compost to give space for a variety of plants, flowers, vegetables or herbs. If using to grow food produce we recommend lining the bed with a membrane before adding the soil.

All the wood Arrived soaking wet including the instructions and parts it seemed as if it has been kept outside for a long period of time. The finish isnt anything like the photos its really rough and splintered, in a totally different colour compared to the soft sanded image on the listing. Whether the wood expanded after being so wet or what but the measurements were all wrong for the top edging and it was really hard to hold and attach with a very thin margin you haev to guess to screw in to. As the instructions were wet and ruined it was a lot of guessing as there also wasnt an easy to find instructions online.
