Finished product looks good, but I was disappointed with both the instructions and the quality of some materials. A couple of pieces were warped beyond usage, but I was able to complete using other wood. The instructions were wrong in a number of places which added complexity to the build. Got there in the end, but some better written instructions would help.

Cheap timber, lots of design flaws-made in the satisfaction of cost limits. Namely— 1-doors to shed are not ledgered and braced-they will sink on one side. 2-many board nails have missed the structure behind 3-no means of sealing the space under the floor-ideal vermin resting place 4-joint between door frame and window walls relies on 3 screws but there are no 45degree fillets to maintain alignment. 5-packing straps were not placed over the transport blocks which has led to damaged timber ar top and bottom. 6-nails have split the match boarding 7-match boarding does not align with the vertical frame timber—by 4mm short or 3mm long on the same piece of framework. 8- we are offered extra floor support timbers-at a cost- but they are essential to take the spring out of the floorboards—these should be factory fitted. 9-overall, I doubt if this shed has undergone any Quality Assurance inspection or Construction regime. Templates should have been used during construction to negate many of these faults. 10=I would not buy a Mercia shed again, based on my experiences with this one.
