The Loxley 6' x 8' WindowlessOverlap Apex Shed is an excellent storage building for your garden at an affordable price. The shed features overlapping boards over 34mm framing, with both the floor and roof constructed from solid sheet OSB, and the roof is covered in mineral green felt to protect the building against the elements. The single door is fitted with a hasp and staple catch (please note that padlock is not supplied). This shed comes dip treated in honey brown finish. Please Note Our garden buildings are pre-treated with a water based timber treatment for protection during transit. In order to receive the full 10 year anti-rot guarantee, it is necessary that you treat the garden building with a high quality, spirit-based, timber preservative prior to or shortly after construction. This will protect the timber from weathering and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to manufacturer’s instructions. See Terms and Conditions for further information.

“The shed itself is of reasonable quality and easy to assemble. However, the roof felt seems of poor quality and rips easily. This is partly due to the poor quality of the tacks which seem insufficiently sized to hold the felt in place (as you hammer one in, the one next to it pops out). I Recommend purchasing felt adhesive or better felt tacks rather than use the supplied ones. Whilst the roof felt is in place, I will need to replace it at some point over the summer as it won't last. It's not a huge cost or hassle but it is also a bit annoying.”

“The shed is constructed from thin timber with numerous knot holes, and we have spent hours trying to fill them in, also, the quality of the roofing membrane is very cheap, and tears easily. Many of our members are advocating that we return it and request a refund.”
