“In my opinion, the type of foam used is not the best one for this application. The foam is very stiff compared to the foam case inserts supplied in some of the Dewalt TSTAK cases. The foam inserts do fit well into my Dewalt TSTAK and Stanley Fatmax cases, they are a tight fit and not easy to extract once they are in. The inserts are made from several layers of foam and the adhesive bonding between each layer is stronger than the foam itself so it makes it difficult to cut away the foam to leave a single neat layer of foam at the bottom of the tool case. This results in a torn and messy layer of foam. The value of my order meant I received a free scalpel, blades and gloves kit. The scalpel is very sharp but the blade is too short to cut the foam effectively. I found it more productive to use a longer "snap off" type modelling blade.”

“Perfect fit into my TSTAK 2.0 toolbox and allowed me to cut the inserts so I could put things like spare blades and chargers snugly in the box to avoid them being bashed about by the power tools.”
