“I found it very easy to cut, but to peel the layers is a joke, they do not come apart very easy and you end up taking less or more layers then you want. So not very happy”

“Standard 50mm thick piece was undersized (45mm) but my custom dimensions were spot on. (no quibble to replace it though as I needed the 50mm thick) Not very clear which is the top or bottom - top is the smoother side with a thin 2-3mm layer Cutting larger shapes is fine, but small shapes/holes (e.g. for gopro batteries or thumb screws (vertically)) was very hard, so small apertures are not as simple as it seems - not recommended for that. Best for large items that as not bothered by possible scratching (it's very rough foam). Bottom should be adhesive covered to stick multiple thinner layers.”

“A great product. The custom cut foam fitted perfectly into my flight case. The complex profile cutting for the equipment being carried was easy. I also found some novel shaping techniques to achieve a perfect fit. I highly recommend Shadow Foam. JS”
