“You can probably make do without the kit, but its so much easier to work with shadow foam when you have the tools! Sharp blade, cut resistant glove and adhesive to bond multiple layers together if required.”

“Cutting kit is fine, but I would advise stocking up on scalpel blades as the action of carving out shapes does very quickly dull the blades. This can get difficult if cutting out shapes like chisels as a dull blade does not cut smoothly.”
