“We have 2 collies. One likes Salmon the other turns his nose up and prefers Gentle. Chicken is ok but we are disappointed as this is expensive dog food. We Will probably go back to Gentle dry dog food”
“Our dog loved the smaller 2kg bag we initially bought to try. The food was fairly soft and thin, large disks. The huge bags we have now bought (for £70-80 I think) seem a very different consistency.. harder, smaller disks which he appears to find too hard to chew unless soaked. We are keen to persist with scrumbles as had noticed an improvement in his poos and a shinier coat. I wonder if this was just an unusually over baked batch? I would be keen to know which is the norm as nervous to invest again incase the kibble is still very hard.”
“We were gifted an advent calendar which my chocolate Labrador devoured. Subsequently we received an offer to subscribe to Scrumbles. We thought we’d sign up as she had enjoyed the kibbles in the advent calendar and ordered 25kg of the salmon. Unfortunately she refused to eat it from the start which for a choccy lab is unheard of. I’ve tried adding gravy and I even took them to the lady who looks after her and other labradors and not all of them would eat it … so I’m now left with 25kg of expensive food”
“Amazing difference in just 3 days of starting yo feed scrumbles. Her poo is consistent and alot less! I thought her old food was good but must have had alot of filler's in it!”
“My two Lhasa Apso dogs love this food mixed with the veggie medley tray of food. One of them has a list of allergies that takes almost everything out of the equation when it comes to food and treats. The Scrumbles salmon food does not contain any of the allergens on her list and they both really enjoy it - I can give single biscuits as treats which they willingly take.
I always mix dry biscuits with a 'wet' food and currently use the white fish, salmon, duck and veggie medley trays to mix.
My dogs are both over 12 years old and are healthy and happy with this food. I was just pleased to find something suitable for my dog with allergies. To be honest, there's only a few dry foods and wet foods that she can have. It's not until you check the ingredients on every food that you look at that you realise how much variation there is in quality and types of ingredients.”
“Our dog had been on a kibble from a well known brand for sometime but he'd lost his shine and just seemed a little less himself, plys the food he had seemed to have changed, including the smell which seemed very off putting, everything else was OK but we felt it was time for a change, scrumbles was recommended to me on Instagram by another Lab owner, we are nearly 100% transferred onto just scrumbles and he's shiny, happy and a real change in gut activity so it's looking like a great choice for him.
