“I bought a large box of these after being told one of my cats has gingivitis. She won’t let us brush her teeth and as she’s long haired and gets fur balls these sounded perfect. Unfortunately she doesn’t like them/ won’t touch them, so I’ve tried giving them to my very greedy/ unfussy 2 male cats and they aren’t keen either. So I’d recommend just buying the one packet to see if your cat likes them before taking advantage of the multibuy offer”
Hi Dianne! Some kitty's aren't so keen on change and it can take a while for them to get used to new flavours and textures 🐱! I hope our tips below help.
1. Always choose a calm and familiar environment to introduce the treats.
2. Start with small portions to avoid overwhelming them.
3. Try sprinkling them into their favourite meal time to allow them to get used to the flavour and texture first and then introduce them singularly.
4. Incorporate treats into playtime. Use treats as rewards for engaging in interactive play sessions or when teaching your cat new tricks.
All the best,
Rachel 🐾
“The initial smell of the treats is not terribly pleasant and my 3 cats seem to feel the same way. However I try to feed the treats to them, they are always left in the bowls, untouched. I am afraid it has been a total waste of money for me.”
