“I purchased the Ptarmigan Tweed Coat as I wanted a waterproof and warm coat without having to wear lots of layers underneath for walking the dog (not for shooting!). Yes, it is ridiculously expensive but an investment that I will be wearing daily - in all weathers. It’s very warm, even in the extreme weather we are having now. I am 61 and 5ft 1 inch and a size 16. It is true to size and comfortable to wear. I appreciate the two way zip that I unzip at the bottom while driving for comfort. I am very pleased with my purchase as I was dithering about the price of the coat. I was put off by the photos on the website as they all show young slim models looking cool while out shooting, when I’m a Mum/Nannie who walks her dog and goes on adventures with the grandchildren... Now I look cool out walking my dog and I have plenty of pockets to carry picnic treats/wet ones/tissues for the grandchildren”

“This was a present for my wife and she is delighted with it. The shape is feminine but also sufficiently roomy to allow for movement. She takes a size 12 in pretty well everything and is 5ft 7” tall and the size 12 coat fit her perfectly. She says it’s warm even though it doesn’t feel bulky and it’s surprisingly light in weight yet doesn’t feel flimsy. So although it’s an expensive coat she thinks she’ll get plenty of wear out of it and is very pleased with it.”
