When buying the Oakham gilet please bear in mind the cut of this garment is generous, for example if your chest measures 42” we suggest you buy a size 40. Model is chest size 40 and is wearing a 38.

“Very nice - my only comment is that it is slightly too long. 44 size assumes a tall man - I am not and for me ideally it needs to be approx 2-2.5"" shorter. I would have another colour but will see how I get on. Also my wife wanted to buy a ladies one but does not like the elasticated rear waist band.”

“Really pleased with this gilet. Looks smart and fits perfect. Did take advice though and ordered size down from my normal 44". Colour is really nice as well, makes a change from usual green. Will probably purchase another in the future.”

“The actual garment is really lovely, unfortunately you used Parcel Force for the delivery and because i was not in it took 3 days to get to me and then i had to travel to the Post Office to collect it when they could have left it in the car port....such a shame”

“The fleece itself is the same brilliant standard as I have known. However, there was an error on my girlfriends part when buying the gift. I buy frequently from companies in a similar price range to Schoffel, and I can say without hesitation the customer service is the worst I have experienced. It certainly put my off purchasing another one in future, which is a shame considering I can’t fault the goods.”
