I needed to make some very accurate cuts in steel tube in order to repair a motorcycle frame. I was looking for a blade that could do the job that would fit my DeWalt chop-saw... and found this. It does everything I need it to and at a very good price. Great product.

Using this blade to very gently make mitred cuts in 1/4" thick aluminium extrusions - which it seems to do very well. Fast delivery from Saxton Blades as well. Many thanks.

I've just used one of these to cut some 2.5mm 20mm angle, 2.5mm 30mm box and 40mm 3mm box using a metabo kgsv 72 with the speed set to just over 2000rpm. The first few cuts were incredible, virtually no extra noise over cutting wood, hardly any sparks, really nice fine chips that didn't burn when they hit you. But after about 10 cuts the ringing sound crept in, the sparks became a bit more frequent, and there was a burr being pushed up on the exit side of the cut. I got as far as 27 cuts before I felt it was blunting, it was still cutting but there was a lot more noise and it took longer. Looking at the blade it still looks pretty good, in the photos I have two pictures of the used blade and one of a new blade (with cover on) for comparison. By the looks of it it should last a bit longer. I'm still not sure what to expect from these metal cutting circular saws. I've used an evolution rage 3s with evolution multi purpose blades and they did ok but seemed to blunt quickly too. I follow the recommended part orientation and clamp as well as possible. Tldr: these blades seem better than the evolution multi blades I've used before but I'm still disappointed they don't keep the fresh blade feeling longer.

Fitted really easy with the bush rings. Only used it on plastic so far but it was a great cut having the 60 teeth. I've got some aluminium to cut yet. We'll see how that goes. If it's as good as the plastic cut it will be great. Better than the standard Evolution blade. The longevity will be the test. Very pleased. Fully recommend.

Using a mitre saw with OEM blades for ‘wood & metal’ the blades were not lasting cutting 16SWG steel tube, good cuts became ragged very quickly. This “proper” metal-cutting blade works fast, cuts well and leaves a good finish, even on 25mm x 3mm thick steel angle. I’m very pleased. Glad I bought two blades, but the first looks set to last for a while.
