Bought 3 of these blades to remove old grout from a shower room floor. Although the grout was now porous it was still solid. Had a couple of square metres of tiles to do & had to take care not to damage the waterproof membrane on the wooden floor. The carbide blade in conjunction with my new Makita DTM50 multi-tool made easy(ish) work of the job and made very little mess. Blade clogged a bit when it encountered some damp grout but some hot water & a stiff brush on the blade sorted that out. Using this blade resulted in zero damage to the tiles and left a clean surface which made the re-grouting procedure simplicity itself. Very pleased with the carbide blade plus the fact that I only used 1 of the 3 blades and that is still OK to use again.

This blade is very similar to the Fein blade and removes grout from my floor tiles just as well as the Fein blade I used did. The only drawback with this blade is that it can only be fitted in four positions 90 degrees apart, the Fein blade allows more positions.
