“I was given a 14 - 21 day turnaround time. I rang after 22 days having heard nothing and was told it would be the following week. I waited a week and heard nothing. I rang again and after politely expressing my frustration at, again, having not heard anything (now 1 month since my order) was subjected to a total hissy fit from the young lady (Blackpool store) about how it wasn’t their fault, it was the supplier’s fault, they were short staffed, etc etc. The manager was much more measured and balanced and conceded that they ought not to have promised 14-21 days because some orders were taking 2 months or more. I accepted his apology and I’m very happy with the product which is of good quality and the chaps helping me load into my car were helpful and obliging. Perhaps amend your website to properly reflect time scales and train your front line staff not to demonstrate hysterics when dealing with customers.”

“I had to wait over a month for my fence panel to be delivered. I had to email numerous times to find out where we were up to apparently the supplier for Savoy timber kept forgetting to send the fence panel to Savoy timber after a month the fence panel finally got delivered, I also asked for compensation for my wait Savoy timber said they have sent the query onto head office but I still haven’t heard anything back. My overall conclusion is of total dissatisfaction with the process and I’m not very sure I would use Savoy timber again.”

“I ordered online 3No made to measure fence panels. I was prepared to wait the 4 weeks construction and delivery time. 2 panels were delivered, both wrong size, the third was to be delivered whenever they got round to making it! I obviously complained and the panels were returned to the factory next day. Definitely the worst company that I have dealt with.”

“The fences I had made to measure are good quality, good value and the size I ordered. The customer service on the phones isn't the best but the product is excellent, the lady I spoke to at the Wigan store was friendly and helpful and the delivery guy the same. I will use again for sure but the people on the customer support number need to cheer up!”
