“A number of the wooden battens (I purchased 36 in total) were pretty rotten, as the wood appeared to have been bundled up for a long period of time - damp white mould was on a number of these, as well as a number of 2.4m battens breaking or splitting, probably because of the odd knot making the wood weaker in that area that split. Overall, I was able to use most of these 36 battens, however these could have been in a much better condition.”

“Battens were soaked through! after 2 days of trying to dry them out' just split everytime I tried to put a screw through them' won't be buying anymore.”

“very bad condition could only use two, the others were full of knots and were falling to pieces had to order some from huws gray in fleetwood who dropped some off same day”
