Thanks so much for feedback, really appreciate it. When I designed the straps I spent a huge amount of time researching and sourcing chain that was as light weight as possible as I was concerned that adding chain to the leather would make the strap rather heavy, particularly when added to a handbag! So yes its lighter but that was a design decision rather than trying to make a cheaper looking product. I hope that makes sense and we will update the website to make sure that is clear.
