It is easy to use and is a quick reference tool to my seven generations of ancestors. In particular the access to my census records.

A really useful tool being able to see the 7 generations in linear form to identify the gaps in one's family history. A useful addition would be to have some blank pro formas incorporated into the Logbook so that information on 5th, 6th, 7th etc generations can be accommodated.

At first sight this does not look too promising, as the instructions appear rather minimal. That said, the more I realised that this is a very useful book to record a multitude of information about one's ancestors. It is excellent value for money. The only point that stumps me is why the root person (presumably the person carrying out the research) will be able/need to record his/her parents' details from the 1841 Census.
