“Like Version 8, Version 9 is something I own - but have only used a couple of times on test data. Version 7 has all that I need (or want) as I prefer to do my own research and most emphatically do not want Ancestry et al bunging their guesses as to the identify of my 3x great aunt (they're usually wrong, or wildly improbable, in my experience).”

“An easy-to-use database upon which a huge amount of data can be stored. I like the reports feature and can double-check places etc. for duplicates. It is so simple to upgrade the newer versions without losing all of the hard work you've put into it. My only regret is not having purchased it at the very beginning of my research! Not to worry: I downloaded all of the information from my online genealogy website so nothing is missing. I wouldn't be without it now.”

“Not a great improvement on version 8, and probably doesn't justify purchasing all over again. I made the mistake in downloading version 9 for trial - this converted my existing data so I had no way back to version 8. (My error in not having a backup of the data elsewhere) I was very disappointed to learn that I had to purchase this new version.”
