“Very impressed with these running shoes. First Inov-8 I've bought and I wasn't sure what to expect, I'd read good reviews and they sounded ideal for my wider feet and mostly trail based running habits. They fit great, they're surprisingly light and comfortable. They have a great bounce to them especially when you pick up the pace a bit, they seem to encourage you forward. So I'm really impressed and am glad I trusted the online review articles that spoke highly of them. I can't comment on durability yet, only that they have not gone wrong in any way at all so far. I wouldn't recommend them for just road running or slow jogging only, they seem specialised for mixed terrain and respond best when you are running fast and/or with agility. My only negative is that I've noticed the grip doesn't work at all on some tarmac paths where they are damp and a bit mushy with leaves/moss. Normal rubber would grip better on this surface, this patented graphene stuff they've got in the grips is really great and seems tougher than a typical vibatram but it doesn't grip the same on this one specific surface, otherwise it grips just great. Odd but not a big deal, there's one place on a regular run where I almost ice skate round a corner on a path in these. Another reason why these are in their element completely off-road/tarmac path.”
