The widest fitting Brooks Ghost 13 4E is an exceptional and popular neutral road running shoe designed to fit the runner with very wide feet. The DNA LOFT is Brooks' most advanced cushioning; now it is extended from the heel to the forefoot in the midsole to offer you a more cushioned - but still responsive - ride. The updated Engineered Air mesh upper delivers secure hold and breathability. Also available in the D (standard) and 2E (wide) width.

These went down very well with my husband. He has wide feet and has found it difficult to find running shoes that would fit. Nice and light, plus very wide. They also don't put stress on his knees. He is a happy man.

Arrived promptly. Excellent product. Chose extra wide and it really makes a difference.

Whilst these shoes are slightly to wide, they are the most comfortable running shoes I’ve worn. I’ve always struggled with width and these are so good under foot and the extra wide really are extra wide!

I have extremely wide feet, if standard shoe sizes allowed it (they usually only go up to H fitting in some rare cases such as Church Shoes which cost over £400 a pair) I would be a size “L” and my previous pair of the Ghost range (Brooks Ghost 11 2e) had the perfect fit and comfort that I expected from a Hi Performance shoe. Now, I didn’t know at the time that they did a 4e “extra extra wide” in Ghost and I had bought the 2e which was very good but over time the sheer width of my feet caused an overhang on the left and right sides of opposite shoes (well, the left on the left and the right on the right - the outside edge) which wore down considerably although I did over 1,500 miles in them (all shoes should be replaced at 1,000 miles). My new Ghost 13 4e have the extra extra wide 4E fitting and on my first outing they felt almost too wide but after my third mile of a 4 miler my feet had slightly expanded and they felt fine. Still, I have only just bought them and the true test comes over the next few months as I see how my feet respond over time and how the “left/right” shoe outside edge copes. As mentioned above the Ghost 11s never let me down and from other reviews I have read on Ghost, the Ghost range tends to go with “Well, if it ain’t bust... “. I pretty much expect the same with my new Ghost 13s and I feel that I will be not disappointed.
