Men's Hoka One One Speedgoat 4 Wide Reviews

4.9 Rating 7 Reviews
Read Run and Become Reviews

Hoka One One’s super cushioned trail running shoe in the new, wide 2E width, is named after ultra runner champion Karl Meltzer’s nickname: Speedgoat, and it performs brilliantly off-road. The upper is reinforced with a 3D print for lightweight durability and has a more accommodating fit thanks to the 2E width. The Vibram Megagrip outsole features the new 'stepped’ lugs, shaped in a special way to repel mud. Also available in standard width.

Excellent, my second pair and these are just as good, they fit, they are lite, fab grip, expensive but worth the money i run mainly on roads about 6 miles 3 times a week, but i do trails now and then so i want adaptable shoes, these work,I'm interested in function rather than form, but these look good as well. they dry fast after going through rivers, they grip in all conditions, and i can climb rocky terrain. I can't believe these could be better I'm considering buying a few pairs for the future.

Super comfy with good grip. I don't have very wide feet but the wide fit is good with enough room in the toe box for longer runs. Run and Become Cardiff were great at helping me choose the right shoes, this is my third pair from them.

It is my first pair of Hoka and the Speedgoat 4 cushioning, and lockdown/secure fit at the heel are all excellent. The wide fit option is perfect for anyone with a wider foot, they are so comfortable. The grip of the outsole is very reassuring on the trails. The only slight negative is the breathability, I could feel my feet getting hotter than I am used to in my Saucony trainers.

Bought these as couldn’t get challengers. Ran 100mile trail race without really having chance to break then in. Got me round so will be using these in future

Arrived in good time and after a short walk around the house to make sure they were comfortable, they provided great performance on my first 8km run. I have worn them a number of times on tarmac and grass, in sun, rain and snow and they have continued to provide good foot support without squeezing the widest part of my feet.

I don't know how wide my feet are, but still too bloody wide for these bad boys. As usual a truly great service by run and become, great looking shoe that I am sure, if it fit my foot - would have been a dream.
