The new updates of GT-2000 version 8 focus on the sole of the shoe which is now more responsive and softer, with a gentle upwards curve to provide you with a smooth roll through your stride and protect your feet against impact when running on hard surfaces.

“The fit is excellent, as it is comfortable. I wore Asics DS Trainers, until the (in my view) disastrous 20-something version; I'd worn size 10 (US) for years, but could barely get my feet into this pared-down version; we are talking 3-4 years ago. I returned them and tried other brands, but went back to Asics and the GT-2000. It hasn't let me down. The - 8 version is, I think, the best yet.”

“I have a pronation issue with my feet and so these training shoes are ideal. I’ve tried many in my time but ASICS seem to work best for me. Good support, comfortable and light.”

“Have only worn these extremely stylish trainers twice now, both on a 5K and a 7K run and they performed extremely well with no niggles. They are a replacement for a similar model from a few years back, so delighted that they are as good, if not better. Just need to get matching kit to wear with them now!!”

“My online gait analysis recommended this shoe and it works a dream. Definitely organise a session with one of the staff members, they are so nice and spent half an hour with me. It was a fun chat and I learnt a lot about my stride. The delivery was speedy.”
