This ultra lightweight powerful headtorch is perfect for winter night time running.  If you're looking for maximum visibility to give you confidence running in the dark this is a great option.   With its single button operation you can easily switch from the reactive lighting mode to constant mode easily.  Reactive lighting means you can put the headtorch in the reactive mode and the sensors in the headtorch will adjust the brightness automatically for your environment.

Amazing headtorch which is light and comfortable, with good battery life. I now have two of these as I had to have a back-up for a night trail race. The second setting (one down from full power) was good enough for racing at night on technical trails and with a fully charged battery I used it at that setting for 4.5 hours before switching to full power for another hour, when the battery then ran out and i changed over to my back-up torch to finish the race. If I had stayed on the second setting I am sure it would have lasted the whole 6.5 hours. Packs really small and can be carried in a waist belt pocket if needed. Great for training, racing and travel.

Excellent head torch for running. I was previously using a Petzl Nao (original version), which is an excellent torch but heavier and not too comfortable for running as there is no padding for the forehead. I wasn't sure that this smaller torch could produce as much light as the Nao but I needn't have worried. The standard setting is plenty bright enough for fully dark off road trails and the spread of light is excellent. Don't think I'll ever need to use it on full power. A fantastic product.

I was a bit sceptical but it definitely works and adjust light dependent on surroundings. Check it is on auto by putting finger over sensor - light level should increase. Awesome.
