New Balance's 10th edition of the ever popular wide 2E fitting stability shoe, M860, has all the best attributes of its predecessor but also gets a few new features. The upper is now made of premium double jacquard mesh for a plush feel. The new Ultraheel with improved moulding alongside a renewed Trufuse midsole offer a really smooth heel to toe transition and better ground contact. Also available in D (standard width) and 4E (extra wide fitting).

“This shoe fits perfect and is very well balanced front to back and with support so ankles don’t bend inwards. It breathes well and I have no issues with them. I recommend also getting running socks with toes so toes don’t rub against each other. Best pair of running shoes I have had I think.”

“I bought these to replace a trusty pair of M860 v8’s. first thing - the sizing doesn’t seem to have changed. I went with the same size as my existing pair, and having bought these online without trying them was pleased to find that they fit really well. The uppers feature more mesh and as a result feel lighter, more breathable, but a little less substantial that the older model. The soles are really quite chunky, as you’d expect from a support shoe, so they take a bit of breaking in. I wore them in the house first, and then a couple of short runs. The third time out I was really feeling the benefit. Overall I’d say they’re not the fastest it lightest, but are very comfy, very supportive and really allow a slightly heavier runner like me to eat up the miles”
